    The Welsh Baccalaureate consists of the Skills Challenge Certificate alongside Supporting Qualifications. The Welsh Baccalaureate is awarded at Advanced, National or Foundation level. To achieve a Pass a candidate must achieve the following:

    Level Skills Challenge Certificate Grade Supporting Qualifications
    KS4 National National A*-C

    Grades A*-C in the following:

    GCSE English Language

    + GCSE Maths of Maths Numeracy

    + three more GCSEs of which two can be vocational equivalents
    KS4 Foundation National A*-C or Foundation Pass* or Pass

    Grades A*-G in the following:

    GCSE English Language

    + GCSE Maths of Maths Numeracy

    + three more GCSEs of which two can be vocational equivalents
