Department of Vocational Studies

Brynmawr Foundation School is proud to offer pupils a wide variety of vocational qualifications. Vocational qualifications make explicit the link between theoretical learning and the world of work by giving learners the opportunity to apply their research, skills and knowledge to work-related contexts and case studies. Work for vocational qualifications is completed in the class, and while there may be assessment for some modules, there are no examinations at the end of course with grades based on work completed in class.
